A Desperate Cry

A Desperate Cry
Can you hear me?
The deep calls out..........
Searching for hope
Seeking for relief
The heart is unsettled........
Yearning for something
Anything to hold onto
A hand to grasp
A shoulder to lean on
A voice to whisper relief
and bring comfort to pain
Joy to disdain
Peace to dismay
A hand is stretched out
In answer to my plea
"Who could this be?" I wonder
"I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE" He whispers
The answer to your cry
The balm for your heart
A shoulder for you to lean on
My joy is your strength
You are mine , He says
And I am your Father
Your Source and Sustainer
Your Healer
Your Helper
Your Maker
Your Friend...........
