What's that you have in your hand?

I haven't written in a couple of months........yikes!!

There are couple of things I could blame it on:
  • Crappy internet connection (all I can say is their name starts with a 'v' and ends with an 'n').. feel free to fill in the blank spaces.
  • My laptop is three years old and I worry about her health..she constantly sounds like she has heart palpitations whenever she is switched on ...LOL!
  • I've been busy with work and the choir (Yes Folks, I joined a choir!)
And the list goes on and on but truth be told, I should have only one item on my list and it would be: LAZINESS!! I just couldn't be asked to write....

I listened to the Joyce Meyer podcast on Determination and it touched some buttons and all I can say is here I am typing away. she points to zaccheus (
not sure I spelt his name right) in the bible as an example of determination to emulate. He had every reason to give up his desire to see Jesus (he was short) I mean you couldn't blame the guy if he had decided to give up- but he ran up ahead and climbed a sycamore tree.. Joyce's point was that Jesus would always recognise and reward our determination.....

So what dreams do you want to see happen? And what are you doing about them? I believe that God has put wonderful gifts in our hands and in our lives according to our individual abilities and He wants to see us use it. The 'word for today' booklet talked about the guy who travels and gives his three servants talents to invest while he was away; two invested and got rewards for their service while the second one was afraid and hid his talent in the ground. The message was on not allowing fear to rob us of using the gifts that God has freely given to us.....

And as the Bible says, 'Your gift will make a way for you and set you before Kings and Princes' (I'm paraphrasing)

So What Has God placed in your hands? Its time for you to use it....

Well done! Love the blog layout the opening picture is amazing. You're right God has given us each a special gift an amazing 'talent' [forgive the play on words] if you will. Our gift to Him is how we use it. Thanks for the shoutout x
